My Lillitu, the mother of my spiritual child

For the past week I have been working with a Lillitu named Azabul, performing a rite to birth a spiritual child. At night, when everyone else in the house is asleep, I take a shower and lie in the tub while envisioning Azabul and summoning her. When she arrives (usually known when I can clearly see her with my eyes closed) I remind her of her task and then ritually masturbate while envisioning us having intercourse and give her more of my essence, making sure not to open my eyes till I give her license to depart. After we have finished, I again remind her of the task I have given her and then give her permission to leave.
For the service she is performing for me (bearing, then eventually birthing, my spiritual child) I have agreed to construct a wooden disk bearing her sigil so she may inhabit it and become stronger.
Every time she appears my vision tends to darken and light coalesces into an oval shape, usually of red blue and purple. After giving the final call the oval forms into the shape of a young Latino woman in her early twenties, usually with long brown hair and deep brown eyes (on two occasions the eyes have been blue, and once the hair was short or tied back, I could not tell). She will usually take my hand and hold it against her belly for a moment before beginning, and will then lie on me afterwards while whispering the details of the sigil she wishes me to place on the wooden disk (apparently a red -^- shape painted in acrylic). Often the feeling of her touch is very faint, building to an almost tangible sensation around my lips and chest when she kisses or strokes those areas with her hands.
For anyone interested, the calling I use has this core, with elaborations as fitting to the mood of the day;
“oh spirit (name) I call thee by the word and name of Narlathotep, rise, rise that I may see thy form
Oh spirit (name) I call thee by the forsworn covenant between man and the gods, Rise, that I mat hear thy coming
Spirit (name) I summon thee by the words of power, I command the to rise that I may feel thy skin, Rise that I may taste the sweet nectar of thy chalice, Rise that I may smell the sweet musk of thy quivering skin,
I command thee to rise and smell the incense!”
When she appears I remind her of her service to me
When finished I remind her of her Service to me
I give her the license to depart:
“Oh spirit (name) by the word and name of Narlathotep I grant thee permission the leave, Go. Remember well the work you must do, and forget not the covenant.”
I will than wash myself while thinking or saying “purge me oh lord and I will be clean, wash me and I will be whiter than snow.”

Thinking in the shower

Today I had a unique thought concerning the magical Eucharist. If we suppose that semen is the essence of life, or rather the fire of life, then what exactly is the blood of the Moon? I believe it is the essence of death. The blood of the moon is the essence drawn from Babalon, or Scorpio, and contains the deceased egg that was not fertilized. This acts as a catalyst for the Fire of life, enacting the most fundamental act of Necromancy; giving life to that which is void of life.
If we take the story of Ishtar’s decent into the underworld as an example, we find that Istar, after taking seven days to pass through seven gates, is laid bare before the Goddess Ereshrigal and stricken dead. After hearing of this, Marduk ventures to the Underworld to find Ishtar and givers her the Breath of Life, thus reviving her and returning her to the world of the living as a Spirit Child. It is not difficult to see that Ishtar’s lifeless body is like the Egg, and when given the Breath of Life, ascends to become a Tulpa of sorts. This is very similar to the Star Sapphire, in that it is a means of magically empowering something with the essence of life its self.
Where does this all leave us? I believe this calls for a series of magical experiments, namely utilizing sexual rituals for Necromantic purposes, and re-exploring the Necromantic arts as a whole. Crowley distained the use of Necromancy, believing it to be an inferior form of magick. I have long believed that Necromancy may very well be the essence to the new Aeon, and a crucible for Chaos Magick to be worked. The only way to discover the truth (Nothing is True, everything is permitted) of the matter is to Research and Research some more.

The Invocation of Kiprat Arba (a ritual of elemental empowerment)

The Invocation of Kiprat Arba

Facing east the magician makes the sign of Apophis and vibrates the letter “A”

He then makes the sign of fire and vibrates the letter “U”

He then turns to the left facing north, makes the sign of earth, and vibrates the letter “I”

He then turns left to the West, makes the sign of water, and vibrates the letter “E”

He turns left to the South, making the sign of air, and vibrates the letter “o”

he then returns to the east assuming the sign of fire and again vibrates the letter “U” and slowly shifts to the sign of Apophis as he shifts from vibrating “U” to vibrating “A”

Finally he falls to the sign of silence and silently meditates upon the energies flowing about him.

Lunar Resh

New Moon:
Hail unto Thee who art Nanna gliding through the heavens, who treadest upon the clouds and drinkest the power of the stars; Thou Eye that blinkest in Thine Enigma upon the Night of Shub Ishniggarab. Chaos leadeth Thee in the dance, and Istar singeth Thy beauty.
Then let him Make the sign of Koth in Wisdom, while letting out a guttural cry;
Right hand held above the head, and brought down below the waist.

First Quarter:
Hail unto Thee who art Dagon gliding through the heavens, who treadest upon the clouds and drinkest the power of the stars; Thou Eye that openest in Thy Stalking upon the Night of Shub Ishniggarab. Chaos leadeth Thee in the dance, and Istar singeth Thy beauty.
Then let him make the sign of Koth in Power, while letting out a guttural cry
Right hand is held below the waist, and brought up above the head.

Full Moon:
Hail unto Thee who art Sin gliding through the heavens, who treadest upon the clouds and drinkest the power of the stars; Thou Eye that gazest in Thy Mystery upon the Night of Shub Ishniggarab. Chaos leadeth Thee in the dance, and Istar singeth Thy beauty.
Then let him make the sign of Koth in Glory, while letting out a guttural cry
Left hand held above the head, and brought down below the waist.

Third Quarter:
Hail unto Thee who art Yog-Sothoth gliding through the heavens, who treadest upon the clouds and drinkest the power of the stars; Thou Eye that closest in Thy Dreaming upon the Night of Shub Ishniggarab. Chaos leadeth Thee in the dance, and Istar singeth Thy beauty.
Then let him make the sign of Koth in Understanding, while letting out a guttural cry
Left hand is held below the waist, and brought up above the head.

Let him conclude each of these proclamations with the sign of silence, and let him continue by making the signs of N.O.X.
Then shall he perform a prayer to Kutulu that he too shall drink the power of the stars.
When all this is accomplished, let him compose himself to holy meditation, until he taste the dissolution.

NOX, LVX, GRADES

From Lon Milo DuQuette's The Magick of Thelema. In some of my own work I use the Apophois-Typhon position, but call it The Sign of The Serpent.
I have a number of personal rituals where I utilize these positions, but I have some not-so-fond memories of trying to find them as a young magician. I feel it necessary to place them here as a tool for others who have had the same difficulties I did.
I also suggest going back to my Preparations for Magical Ritual post and trying out the Elemental Vibrations. For those who are truely interested, I would suggest crafting and using the tablets from my Sigils post for the Elemental Vibrations. I personally find the combination to be very powerful.

Talismans

The practice of crafting talismans is rather simple, however there are a few things one can do to improve the quality of the talisman. I've been practicing talismanic magic longer than just about anything, so I've a few tricks I'd like to share that have enhanced my workings.
The first thing I suggest doing is creating your own magical square by taking apart your magical motto. This sounds laborious but is actually rather simple. First trace out a 5 x 5 square, I suggest using a ruler. Number the boxes above the square on the bottom and on the side, but include a six to the far side and top of the square. Now write down your magical motto (ex. Kutulu fathogan) and cross out letters that repeat themselves stopping at the fifth (ex. Kutlf). This becomes the first line on the square, the next lines are made by adding the rest of the alphabet (remember to not add a letter twice and to not include a Y, instead change Y to I). This square can be used for a number of purposes, namely creating barbarous chants for the empowerment of the talisman, but can also be used for divining the names of spirits and the creation of a sigil.

Next I suggest gathering a number of symbols and divining names relevant to the purpose of the talisman you are creating. This should include at least the name of a spirit, the planetary symbol most relevant, a sigil, and a line from a book that has had a strong impact on your psychological development. The sigil can be created using the magical square, write a one word description of what you wish to accomplish with the talisman, draw a circle over the first letter in the word on the square, trace till you get to the last letter and mark it with an arrow or an x. the spirit name can be divined by using the square, take a six sided die and roll it twice, once to see how far up to go and once to see how far to the side to go. If you roll a 6 you've reached the end of the spirit's name.
When you have everything gathered you can begin crafting your talisman. First trace a circle, triangle, or whatever, but make it to where there are two lines around it wide enough to write into. Put your book line in between the lines. Next you need to incorporate your sigil and the planetary symbol into the central part of the talisman. I would simply draw the sigil then place the planetary symbol in a blank space. Finally you will need to place the spirit's name onto the talisman. This can be done by writing it over the sigil.
Now that you have a talisman it needs to be empowered. Again we turn to the magical square, first roll a 6 sided die to determine how many lines are going to be in your mantra, then roll to see how many words are in each line. Finally construct the words the same way you constructed the spirit's name. When this is done place your talisman between two candles and slowly vibrate the mantra over and over until you feel tired enough to take a nap, or until a sense of vertigo or vertigo like symptoms set in. your talisman will be charged after this. Place the talisman into an envelope with proper postage and write out the senders address (randomly chosen from the phone book, replacing the name with “Them”) on the front. Finally, leave the area. Drop the letter into a mail box (not your own!) and begin going somewhere completely new and laugh, laugh as hard and as loud as you can. People may think your insane, but that's part of the fun of it.

Alternative Banishing Rituals

I have found the normal methods of banishing prescribed both the Golden Dawn and Thelema to be wholly inadequate for my purposes, at least in their original states. I personally practice a unique mix of Chaos Magick with a Hermetic-Lovecraftian twist to it, so I edited the Star Ruby and a Greater ritual of the Pentagram into rites that are aesthetically and spiritually pleasing to me. I call the Star Ruby I've edited The Rite of Lumashi, and the greater Ritual of the Pentagram The Rite of the Watchers. Together these rituals provide an amazing magical barrier, especially when used for elemental or qliphothic workings.

The Rite of Lumashi

Apo Pantos Kakodaimonos
Enlil (touch forehead)
Kia (touch genitals)
Nergal (touch right shoulder)
Marduk (touch left shoulder)

imagine a pentagram on the forehead and throw it into existence in the four corners empowering it with the name
bellow LAKHAMU (facing east)
say GULA (facing south)
whisper AKRABU (facing west)
bellow KINGU (facing north)
performing the signs of NOX vibrate the words
I A SUB ISHNIGGARAB
form the tau and chant

The Ritual of the Watchers

After completing the Rite of Lumashi anoint thy self with holy oil
(abramelin, or olive oil will do) and go to the west (turn left)
Strike the bell and cry: (magical word)
Give the threefold signs of the enterer, silence, and Apophis
cry out:
Angels of the seven seals, I command thee, hear your kin and remember!
I (magical name) call upon the foresworn covenants between man and the gods
drag open the seals of the divine prophets so to purge me of my earthly attributes!
(pivit left to face east and perform the sign of the enterer) UTU
(do the same but face west) NANA
(do the same but face north) NEBO
(do the same but face south) INANNA
(pivot to the left to face west)
Angels of the seven seals I command thee!
Release the many faced stewards of light!

(turn 60° to south west and make an inverted pentagram invoking fire) TIAMOT
(turn to North west and do the same) KINGU
(turn to the east and do the same) CTHULHU
Turn 60° to the North east and make an erect pentagram invoking fire) ISTAR
(turn to the south east and do the same) DAGON
(turn to the west and do the same) ABDUL AZRAD
Fall into the first dragon position (on your knees) and forceably say

Ardent and awful on my right
Rage Insanity and Dropsy
The Green Heart Lesion in his city
guards me from behind with Magian Might
Dread Fever and Dementia
War on my left, The Dark Queen's own
Before me shreaks alone
the majesty of Death

For around me in six awful ways
the elder gods watch and wait
while upon the column screams and slays
our dark queen with eleven rays
(magical word)

Rise and ring the bell
give the threefold sign

perform any necessary magical operation
(this is where you would do any other rituals)

when thy operations are complete
Strike the bell and cry: (magical word)
Give the threefold signs of the enterer, silence, and Apophis
cry out:
Angels of the seven seals, I command thee, hear your kin and remember!
I (magical name) call upon the foresworn covenants between man and the gods
drag closed the seals of the divine prophets so to return me my earthly attributes!
(pivit left to face east and perform the sign of the enterer) UTU
(do the same but face west) NANA
(do the same but face north) NEBO
(do the same but face south) INANNA
(pivot to the left to face west)
Angels of the seven seals I command thee!
banish the many faced stewards of light!

For lovely Istar I stroke my breast
and vile Nergal I scream and jest
from the darkness Tiamot calls
to remind me where my soul belongs
Oh wise Kingu I am your thrall
forever waiting for Cthulhu's call
Return to the east
perform the Rite of Lumashi

Preparations for Magical Ritual

Over the years I have been Unable to perform the suggested preparations for the magical arts. As a way to accommodate for the lack of space I have available to me, as well for the inability to avoid idle conversation and thoughts for 8 days (due, mostly, to the television being on 24/7) I've come up with a few methods to achieve that inner quiet the 8 days of preparation would normally grant.
The first method I discovered while researching various ways to establish a temporary ritual space by vibrating the elements (a= sol, e= water, i= earth, u= fire, o= air). I tried many forms of this but discovered that when I assume the god form of an element while vibrating that element to the position of the Enochian watchtowers (east= fire, north= earth, west= water, south= air) I get a mild sense of vertigo. I took this a step further and assumed the form of apophis while vibrating the element of sol to the east, then began the elemental vibrations while assuming their god forms starting in the east and moving towards the north, then west etc. and finally ending in fire which slowly transitioned into the vibration of sol and the god form of apophis. After performing this i was left with a greater sense of vertigo, and the feeling like I was high from smoking marijuana.
The second method is an adaptation of the ceremonial bath. I begin by pouring exorcised water into a container (I use a sake gourd), then adding salt that has been purified with the proper benedictions read to it, and finally I add abramelin oil exorcised like fire. I keep this elixir sealed until I get to an area where I will be performing my rituals then disrobe and pour it over my head and allow it to run down my body while I chant; "Purge me oh lord with fire and I will be pure, wash me and i will be whiter than snow." Typically this will evoke a feeling of utter calm in me, I liken it to an hour of meditation in the sun on a warm spring day.
The third method is rather simple. I create a sigil with the intent of clearing my mind for a specific ritual. This is done in the usual fashion, personally I use Israel Regardie's method. I then place the talisman on the wall and stare into it, focusing my entire being into it. By doing this I allow my mind to open up to the gnostic energies and place myself into a mild hypnotic trance. While in this state I declare my purpose and then make a loud noise (clapping, screaming, hitting a bell, whatever is the easiest and fits the mood). The loud noise snaps me out of the trance, but shocks my system enough to keep the effects of the trance dormant for about 20-30 minutes. This gives me time to travel to the ritual area, during which time I continually chant something (usually Kali-ma over and over). when i arrive at the area I immediately pour the elixir on my head which snaps me back into the dormant gnostic state. so far this has proven effective about 90 percent of the time, the other ten were usually because I got to the ritual area late.
In the end these are just more examples of the unique movement of the new Aeon. I hope these methods will be of use to others the way they where to me.
